Tour Postponed

TOUR POSTPONED / SHOWS IN SANTA FE, LUBBOCK, EDEN CANCELLED 

In light of the current public health emergency, and the reality of community transmission of the new virus, I’ve decided to cancel or postpone the last three shows of our southwestern tour, and to get my band home safe to their families across the country before it becomes difficult or impracticable in the face of what are likely to be significant disruptions to daily life in the near term.

I don’t like to cancel any show, and I don’t take it lightly. It frustrates me to disappoint anyone who bought a ticket and meant to come out and hear us. But after speaking with my doctor, a friend with the state department, and my manager, it appears that the most prudent and socially responsible thing to do in the present moment is to get off the road, and not encourage people to gather.

My agents and I will do everything in our power to find make-up dates for these shows, and failing that, we’ll ask the clubs to refund all ticket-holders full price. 

Our deep gratitude, and our regrets, go out to the folks in the towns we’ll miss. We hope to make it up to you down the line. In the meantime, please be conscientious, and take care of your neighbors by staying home. Every one of us has the chance right now, and the obligation, to do right by our most vulnerable.
